Press release of the State Secretariat of Border Affairs on 31st January 2026
On 31 January 2026, the State Secretariat of Border Affairs issued a press release on the meeting of the Cambodia-Thai Joint Border Commission (JBC).
While awaiting the upcoming special meeting of the JBC and to expedite the implementation of the field work as agreed upon in the past, in accordance with the Agreed Minutes of the special meeting of the Cambodian-Thai JBC dated 22 October 2025 in Chanthaburi Province, duly approved by Government of both sides, the JBC (Cambodian side), has once again requested the JBC (Thai side) through notes verbale dated 29 January 2026, as attached.
